It has been decided that a self-portrait by Hara Tetsuo will be added to the Uffizi Gallery, the temple of beauty in Florence, which boasts one of the world's largest collections of self-portraits.
In October, Hara was invited to the Italian comics and pop culture event "Lucca Comics & Games," where he received the "Yellow Kid Award," one of the most prestigious comics awards. The Uffizi Gallery, which also serves as a judge for the award, proposed that his work be added to their self-portrait collection.
