Coamix Inc. and NO MORE Inc. will be holding an interactive exhibition, "UMEZZ HORROR HOUSE ~The Drifting Classroom and Thought Experiments Exhibition~," to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Kazuo Umezu, the "God of Horror Manga," starting July 17, 2026 (Friday) at GALLERY ZENON, an art gallery in Kichijoji, Tokyo, operated by Coamix Inc.

◾️A new "horror house" project has been launched.
This event is an immersive experience where you yourself "drift" into the desperate world of Kazuo Umezu's masterpiece, "The Drifting Classroom." Participants will face the terror of their ordinary daily lives being threatened, as well as the psychological horrors of "madness" and "ego" lurking within the human psyche. In collaboration with NO MORE Inc., a company that handles experiential entertainment, you can enjoy an immersive horror experience that combines the elements of the "Thought Experiment Exhibition," which attracted 20,000 people and garnered significant attention.
■The appeal of UMEZZ HORROR HOUSE
① This isn't an exhibition to view original artwork. It's an "immersive horror house" where you are the star.
As a reader turning the pages, you now find yourself in the world of the story. Transcending time and space, you become immersed in the desperate world of Yamato Elementary School, which has been transported to an isolated wasteland, and you yourself "drift" through it.
② An extraordinary experience where you face the "fear of your everyday life being threatened."
Having had your safe daily life taken away, you are confronted with "life and death" and "raw ego." Doubts and mental burdens that cling to your mind slowly erode your values.
③ A horror experience × thought experiment that shakes up human morality
This isn't just a horror house designed to scare you. The "Thought Experiment Exhibition" team's ingenuity will expose the hidden true nature of you and your companions. The question, "Why did I make that choice at that time?" will vary from person to person, and afterwards you'll want to share your thoughts with someone. It's a psychological horror entertainment for modern people living in unstable times.
