Kazama Taiki has adapted the manga "Mobuko no Koi" (Zenon Comics/Core Mix) by Tamura Akane, which began serialization in Monthly Comic Zenon in 2017 and is currently being serialized on the webcomic site Zenon Editorial Department, into a live-action film. Co-starring Sakurada Hiyori and Kido Taisei, the film is scheduled for nationwide release on June 5, 2026! The first footage and main visual for the film have been released. The scene depicts a calm spring day. A single white clover quietly but diligently takes root in a narrow gap in the brick pavement of a supermarket. Only Tanaka Nobuko (Sakurada Hiyori) notices this tiny life, which everyone else overlooks, and stops in her tracks. Then, a young man named Irie Hiroki (Kido Taisei) approaches, pushing a row of carts with a rattling sound. Worried that she'll get run over if she carries on like this, Nobuko takes a step back, unable to call out to him. However, Irie gave Nobuko a modest bow and said, "Welcome," and then, with a natural trajectory, as if breathing, he dodged the clover and left.

No words are exchanged. But it's just a moment of shared feelings for a small flower. The footage, which hints at the beginning of a romance between two "non-protagonists" in a corner of the world, is brief, yet it's clear enough to hear something beginning to move. The film is directed by Kazama Taiki, known for the socially acclaimed dramas "Silent" and "The Beginning of the Sea." He previously worked with Sakurada Hiyori, who plays Nobuko, and Kido Taisei, who plays Irie, on the aforementioned dramas. Anticipation is high for the clarity of the story, born of their mutual trust. A striking piano melody resonates throughout the footage. At times ephemeral, at other times powerful, the melody resonates, gently pushing the awkward couple forward. The visual, released at the same time, shows Nobuko and Irie working at a supermarket. The two are so close they seem to be able to feel each other's heartbeats.
