On October 28th, "pomodoro," a free magazine published by Coremix in Kumamoto, was awarded the Japan Regional Content Awards 2025 (sponsored by the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Japan Tourism Agency, and National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations), a nationwide contest that recognizes locally-based media.

This year, 577 media outlets were judged.
There were 10 awards, and the Grand Prize in the Tourism category was awarded to "pomodoro."
