A special edition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the series, "City Hunter 40th Anniversary Guide: City Hunter Deep Dive Book," has been released. The cover features a new illustration by Tsukasa Hojo.
This book thoroughly analyzes the history of "City Hunter" over the past 40 years, from the manga to the live-action version.
The DVD also includes a special conversation between Hojo and Ryohei Suzuki, who starred in the Netflix film "City Hunter," Takehiko Inoue, Hojo's former assistant and the author of "SLAM DUNK," and Nobuhiko Horie, former editor-in-chief of "Weekly Shonen Jump" and the original editor in charge of "City Hunter."
