[Release date announced!] After 35 years, the only official City Hunter game will be revived in 2026.


SUNSOFT, the gaming brand of Sun Electronics Corporation, has decided to port City Hunter, originally released for the PC Engine in 1990, to current game consoles (Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, Steam®) and release a "reprint" version with new features on Thursday, February 26, 2026.


After 35 years, the only official game is now revived.

The only official game released for the PC Engine on March 2, 1990, is finally back after 35 years. It's a long-awaited simultaneous worldwide release, relentlessly capturing the excitement of the time. Combining nostalgia with modernity, this game is more than just a remake. Localized in multiple languages, it can be enjoyed by both those who were once captivated by the game, and those experiencing it for the first time, regardless of language barrier. Experience the thrill and excitement once again.
