(President and CEO: Togashi Ken, abbreviated as Nippan) has been releasing "Washable Paper Book Covers" (bunko size) for four consecutive months since June 2025 as part of the "ONE ECO PROJECT," which plans and supports eco-activities that the publishing industry should undertake through attractive content such as comics, picture books, novels, and magazines. Starting Friday, July 18, 2025, the City Hunter designs will be available for sale at participating bookstores in the ONE ECO PROJECT.
In order to increase awareness of the "ONE ECO PROJECT", Nippan has been selling products and exhibiting at events. The cumulative sales of the "Book Bag" and "Large Book Bag", which are representative products of the "ONE ECO PROJECT", have reached 300,000 units. In addition, the "ONE ECO PROJECT" donates a portion of its sales to environmental conservation organizations, and the cumulative donation amount from April 2022 to July 2025 is 872,412 yen. In the future, the "ONE ECO PROJECT" will continue to promote various eco-related initiatives from bookstores under the concept of "eco activities starting from bookstores".
