As previously reported, the film stars Reina Triendl in the two heroine roles of Fujimura Aoi (before plastic surgery) and Ito Sumire (after plastic surgery), who seek revenge even by changing their face and disguising themselves as someone else; Miyamoto Mayu plays Fujimura Karin, the target of her revenge who has been bullying Sumire (Aoi) since she was little and later takes her husband Kippei away from her; Kimura Ryo plays Fujimura Kippei, Sumire's (Aoi) ex-husband and now Karin's husband; and Senga Kento plays Kiritani Mirai, a bartender who can see into people's hearts and is the first to notice Sumire's (Aoi) true nature. The ending theme song for this work has been decided to be "B.U.G." sung by the three-piece band Dios, which depicts a unique world! It is a funk tune that brings to the forefront brass sounds and catchily depicts a "buggy world". A nightmare where you have to surrender to the impulses that spark in your brain. Even if the words that bounce out are blatant lies, the wheels turn as they burn. An afternoon dancing merrily with a bugged brain. But even so, I'm glad I was able to honestly say that I want to be loved. That's what the song is about. I think it also links to the brain burning with revenge that burns everything. I would be very happy if it becomes a song that adds a touch of glamour to the drama "Replica."
Formed in 2021. A new band made up of three people who have stood out in different scenes: Tanaka, formerly of Boku no Lyric no Bouyomi, Ichika Nito, an up-and-coming guitarist who has been involved in producing songs for Polyphia and Machine Gun Kelly, and Mari Sasano, a track maker/SSW who has also worked on the opening theme songs for popular anime and is linked to Vocaloid x game culture.
The name is a play on Dio, a character from Tanaka's favorite manga, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7: Steel Ball Run, and Dionysus, the god of ecstasy and drunkenness in Greek mythology.
What's more, the drama's key visual has also been completed!
This time, the key visual for the program has finally been revealed! Sumire (Aoi) is lying quietly on a pile of flowers, holding a replica of her past face mask. Above her is her rival Karin lying upside down. Approximately 600 fresh flowers were prepared, and the two of them actually lay on top of them, slowly changing and adjusting the angle, for a meticulous shoot that took approximately two hours.
This beautiful and disturbing piece vividly depicts Sumire (Aoi)'s determination to cast off her past and embark on the path of revenge, as well as the destinies of two people whose lives will never intersect. Introduction
"That day, I swore to myself that I would spend the rest of my life taking everything away from that woman." The protagonist, Aoi (Trindl Reina), who was once bullied and abused, finally meets her ideal man, Fujimura Kippei (Kimura Ryo), who loves her, as an adult, and marries him. However, he cheats on her with another woman, and they are forced to divorce... What's more, the woman he cheats with is Karin (Miyamoto Mayu), the main culprit who has bullied Aoi since she was a child.
